Enquiring Minds is an inspirational documentary series that premiered on Television Sydney (TVS) in 2013. The series aims to help and encourage students in late primary to early secondary school develop their passion and hobbies into a career through higher education.
ABOUT THE PRESENTATION
Craig will discuss how archaeologists interpret material culture (artefacts) found on archaeological sites. How do we find artefacts? How do we understand them? And what do they tell us about people who lived thousands of years ago? He will bring some ancient artefacts so students can view them up close.
ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Bachelor (Honours) in Classical Archaeology and a PhD in Classical Archaeology.
Craig has a PhD in Classical Archaeology and is the Manager of Education and Public Programs at Sydney University Museums.
He is a Classical archaeologist and educationist who is a director of the University of Sydney��s excavations at Paphos in Cyprus. He has worked on sites in Australia, Greece and Turkey. He works in museums teaching students how to read objects.
